Creating the Bald Eagle Aviary!

The Yellowstone Forest Lake with a spouting geyser is now completed, but what about a cross-section of the North American nature which would not include the American national bird, the Bald Eagle?

As a young couple of eagles has already joined the Zoo, the area of the Yellowstone National Park is due to be completed with a high aviary. We intend to erect an aviary specially devoted to the Bald Eagles to show these impressive birds in their natural habitat. A place from where their eyes will command the view of the Yellowstone Forest Lake and, beyond, a major part of the Zoo’s area. A place allowing them to build their nest under the shelter of a rock face.

Please, help us to grant our Bald Eagles soon this high-perched overlook onto the Yellowstone Forest Lake of the Heidelberg Zoo.
